Job Description:

• Job Type: Vehicle Technician
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (No weekends)
• Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 basic, plus bonus
• Location: Yeovil, Somerset

About the role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership group in Yeovil. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician or mechanic who takes pride in high-quality work and wants to be part of a supportive team environment.

What you'll do:

• Carry out general vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs 
• Perform ramp tests and road tests as required 
• Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment 
• Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards 
• Carry out air conditioning servicing 
• Ensure all job cards, service records, and related paperwork are completed accurately and to a high standard

What we’re looking for:

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair 
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry 
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude 
• Good time management and attention to detail 
• Full UK driving licence

About the role:

As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating workshop activities and schedules 
• Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of technicians 
• Ensuring high-quality standards across all maintenance, repairs, and installations 
• Maintaining health & safety standards and compliance with industry regulations 
• Managing workshop stock levels, tools, and resources 
• Providing technical support and guidance to staff and customers 
• Liaising with the sales and service departments to coordinate pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience within a workshop management or senior technician position 
• Strong leadership and organisational skills 
• Technical knowledge of motorhomes, caravans, or similar vehicles 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment 
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities 
• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
